Interface and Features
File search, mark for recovery, sorting: 4.0Compare
A search string Enter Name or Path here to search for individual files, folders, or file/folder masks. Files can be filtered by their extensions, size (minimum / maximum), or creation / modification date. Manual file marking for recovery. Files are sorted by clicking column names. Files are shown by their thumbnails, list, and content. Content in the left pane can be shown as TypeList or PathList.
Deep analysis of disks (disk scan): 4.5Compare
File types to recover (images, video, etc) and recovery types (deleted data, a formatted partitions, etc.) can be selected. Two scan types can be applied: Quick Scan and Deep Scan. Found files can be shown as a list, as file types or icons. Scan results can be saved and opened later.
File recovery using file signatures (raw file recovery): 4.5Compare
Supports raw file recovery with a pre-defined file signature set. File types to search for cannot be selected. Found files appear in file type folders like Documents, Archive, etc. They contain both conventional and raw files.

The program has an option to search for files deleted from the Bin, but it processes all disks rather than the specific one, making such process very slow. A convention search for deleted files on the required disk had to be performed.
After Quick Scan : Three folders and files from the root folder were found in the Recycle Bin. Their names were incorrect. The subfolders and files within those folders were found with correct names. They were successfully recovered. Some other remnants of the original folder structure were found in the Other Paths section. They contained almost all files with correct names, which were successfully recovered.
After Deep Scan: Nothing new was found.
Overall, all but two files were successfully recovered, but the original folder structure was not.
