Data Rescue PC3

- 2016
Overall Product Rating: 3.5
The program showed a good file recovery performance for NTFS and FAT32 file system. However, it doesn’t support the exFAT file system, which seriously limits its recovery capabilities. Also, no built-in previewer and extremely severe demo mode restrictions (actually, no file recovery or preview is possible) made its overall rating so low.
File search, mark for recovery, sorting: 4.0Compare
Search parameters: individual file search, file mask search, file search for date, file sorting by mask and status.
Deep analysis of disks (disk scan): 3.5Compare
Some scan parameters (file systems to search for, type of disk objects, scan area, etc.) can be specified. Scan results may be stored in a file during the scan and loaded later.
File recovery using file signatures (raw file recovery): 4.0Compare
This feature exists with a pre-defined file signature set.
Disk imaging and copying: 6.0Compare
Image types: byte-by-byte. There’s a special clone module that allows the user to copy any file, partition, or disk to another file, partition, or disk.
User interface: 4.0Compare
Good wizard interface but only a few recovery parameters can be specified.
Localization support: 4.0Compare
Languages supported: English only.
Localized file name recognition: Recognized all tested localized characters in file and folder names.
Demo mode restrictions: 1.5Compare
